Sandhya Mridul was born in Delhi. She first appeared in a serial called Swabhimaan in the year 1995. After that she continued to do many serials on television like Kosshish Ek Asha, Hubahu and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin for
which even her acting was appreciated. Finally in the year 2002, she did her debut in Bollywood with a Yash Raj film Saathiya in which she played the character of Dina(Rani’s sister) for which she got good reviews. After which in 2005 she appeared in Page 3 with Konkona Sen Sharma and Tara Sharma in which she played an air hostess in the film. Her performance was again appreciated by audiences as well as the critics and the film went on to become a hit. Apart from films, in 2007, she participated in a popular dance show Jhalak Dhiklaa Jaa in which she won the runners-up trophy. |
